Compensation: $18.00–$20.00/hour based on skill leveling assessment + $5.00/hour Overnight Differential

Compensation

- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians with patient examinations, treatments, and nursing care.
- Support diagnostic procedures, laboratory testing, imaging, and patient monitoring.
- Safely restrain patients for examinations and medical procedures.
- Prepare patients and treatment areas for procedures and diagnostics.
- Maintain clean, organized exam rooms, treatment areas, and hospital equipment.
- Monitor patient comfort and communicate changes to the medical team.
- Accurately document treatments and patient information within the hospital information system.
- Deliver compassionate client service and educate pet owners as directed by the veterinary team.
- Collaborate with doctors, technicians, client care coordinators, and support staff to provide exceptional patient care.
- Contribute to a positive, team-oriented hospital culture while helping maintain an efficient workflow.
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Assistant in a veterinary hospital required.
- Passion for providing outstanding patient care and exceptional client service.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced emergency and specialty veterinary environment.
- Comfortable working a flexible schedule, including days, overnights, and weekends.
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn, grow, and support the entire hospital team.
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required.
