Compensation:

  • $22 – $28/hr
  • Increases with advanced skillset
  • Overnight Differential: 11p – 6a: Base + $5/hr
Schedule (to be determined):
  • 2-3 GP Shifts (9-hour shifts between 7a – 9p)
  • 1-2 ER Shifts (3p – 12a OR 4p – 1a)
    • Overnight Differential: 11p – 6a: Base + $5/hr

About the Role
In this dual‑department position, you will split your time between our General Practice team and our Emergency & Critical Care department. This role is ideal for technicians who love building client relationships in a GP setting and accelerating hands‑on skills in a fast‑paced ER environment.

You will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care, supporting DVMs, and guiding clients through both routine and urgent medical needs.

What You’ll Do
General Practice Responsibilities
  • Provide outstanding client service and compassionate patient care
  • Conduct patient intake, gather medical histories, and take vitals
  • Perform core technical skills including venipuncture, IV catheter placement, drug calculations, administering medications, radiographs, and lab work
  • Support doctors during exams, treatments, and routine procedures
  • Contribute to a positive, respectful hospital culture and help mentor others
Emergency & Critical Care Responsibilities
  • Serve as the initial point of contact for incoming patients: triage, stabilize, and communicate clearly with clients
  • Assist DVMs with urgent diagnostics and treatments
  • Utilize advanced technical skills: anesthesia monitoring, catheter placement, radiology, lab work, surgical support, and critical patient care
  • Maintain accurate medical records in a dynamic, fast‑moving environment
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary specialty team
About You
  • Strong anesthesia skills
  • CVT/LVT/RVT preferred (but not required!)
  • 2+ years of experience OR a recent Vet Tech graduate
  • Dedicated to top-notch patient care
  • A team player who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative hospital
