Compensation
$17–$23/hour, based on skill level and assessment
$2.50/hour shift premium
Weekdays: 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 a.m.
Weekends: Friday 5:00 p.m. – Monday 8:00 a.m
Schedule
Targeting three 12-hour shifts per week (days)
Includes a mix of days, evenings—flexibility required

Position Overview As a Kennel Attendant, you’ll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness throughout the hospital. We're looking for someone who is hardworking and thrives in a busy environment. You’ll play a key part in ensuring smooth communication, compassionate support, and a welcoming environment for every visitor. This is a stepping-stone position—it’s a vital role at the heart of our hospital.
Responsibilities
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the hospital. Including, but not limited to cleaning/maintaining kennels, laundry and dishes.
Restocking supplies
Collaborate closely with medical teams to support patient care
Observing animal behaviour and wellbeing. Notifying team members of any concerns
Assisting staff with animal restraint
Additional administrative or support tasks as needed
Requirements
Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor
Strong interpersonal skills and ability to thrive in a team environment
Comfortable handling animals
Physically able
Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role.
