Veterinary Technician, Multiple Department Options | Up to $39/hr + VTS earning potential | Full-Time Benefits | Woburn, MA

Massachusetts Veterinary Referral Hospital is hiring Veterinary Technicians for our Anesthesia, Recovery, and Emergency & Critical Care teams in Woburn, MA. Compensation

  • Anesthesia: up to $39/hour, with higher rates for VTS technicians
  • Recovery: up to $32/hour, with additional earning potential for VTS technicians
  • Emergency & ICU: up to $38/hour, based on experience and skill level
  • VTS experience and advanced technical skills may qualify for additional compensation
Schedule
  • Full-time opportunities available
  • Schedule may vary by department
  • Emergency and specialty hospital environment, including potential weekends, holidays, and overnight shifts depending on team needs

Responsibilities
  • Provide advanced nursing care for emergency, critical care, anesthesia, and recovery patients
  • Monitor anesthesia, sedation, pain management, and post-operative recovery
  • Support DVMs with diagnostics, treatments, procedures, and patient care plans
  • Triage and monitor high-acuity emergency and ICU patients
  • Communicate clearly with doctors, teammates, and clients
  • Maintain accurate medical records and uphold hospital protocols
  • Work collaboratively across ER, ICU, anesthesia, surgery, and specialty teams
Qualifications
  • Veterinary Technician experience required
  • CVT, RVT, or LVT preferred
  • Emergency, ICU, anesthesia, surgery, or specialty experience strongly preferred
  • Strong patient monitoring, technical nursing, and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced emergency and specialty hospital environment
  • Team-focused mindset with a commitment to patient care and client service
  • Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
