Veterinary Receptionist | $18–$20/hour
Location: Nashua, NH
Schedule: Full-Time | Three 12-hour shifts, including every other weekend

Ethos Veterinary Urgent Care in Nashua, NH is hiring a Veterinary Receptionist to join our team. Schedule
  • Full-time schedule consists of three 12-hour shifts
  • Every other weekend required for full-time team members
  • Urgent Care hours of operation: Monday–Sunday, 8:30 a.m.–8:30 p.m.
Responsibilities
  • Welcome clients in a friendly, helpful, and compassionate manner
  • Prepare and review documents and medical records accurately and completely
  • Educate clients about hospital services and practices
  • Process client check-ins promptly and efficiently
  • Schedule and check in appointments while responding to client requests
  • Process patient admissions and discharges accurately and schedule follow-up appointments as needed
  • Prepare invoices and process payments accurately
  • Answer multiple phone lines promptly and professionally and direct calls appropriately
  • Assist with administrative responsibilities, including scanning, faxing, and emailing
  • Provide a high level of client service while supporting pets and their families during urgent veterinary visits
  • Collaborate closely with the medical team to support an efficient, compassionate client and patient experience
Qualifications
  • One year of customer service experience preferred; we are willing to train the right candidate
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment
  • Commitment to developing positive, long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and the community
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Comfortable managing multiple priorities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
  • Fluent English speaking and reading skills required

Veterinary Urgent Care serves as a vital bridge between primary care and emergency services. We are committed to providing top-notch medical care for pets in their time of need.

Our clinic is specially equipped with state-of-the-art technology, including point-of-care ultrasound for guided cystocentesis, an in-house lab, and digital radiography (x-rays). Our highly skilled medical team is ready to treat dogs and cats suffering from a variety of non-life-threatening conditions, such as:
  • Ear issues
  • Limping and scooting
  • Hot spots
  • Tooth and nail-related injuries
  • Coughing and sneezing
  • Allergic reactions
  • Minor injuries requiring stitches
  • Vomiting, diarrhea, and not eating
Veterinary Urgent Care does not provide 24-hour emergency care. We are not equipped to handle patients in life-threatening conditions. Patients experiencing any of the following are directed to a 24-hour emergency veterinary hospital:
  • Difficulty breathing
  • Major trauma
  • Ingestion of toxic substances
  • Seizures
  • Inability to urinate
