Compensation: $21 - $35/hr, based on experience and licensure. 

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm

ECVR is seeking an experienced and dedicated Veterinary Technician to join our growing team at our specialty veterinary hospital. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled technician who thrives in a fast-paced, client-focused environment, and values excellence in patient care.

About You: An experienced Veterinary Technician that thrives in an ever-changing environment, equipped to stay calm and knows how to react quickly during life-threatening circumstances. Position Responsibilities:  

• Assist veterinarians and specialists in providing high-quality care. Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation of treatments and procedures. Review invoices and ensure all charges are entered correctly.
•  Communicate effectively with clients via phone and email. Discharge patients and clearly explain at-home care instructions to pet owners.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Minimum 4 years of veterinary technician experience, preferably in a specialty or referral hospital setting.
• Proficient in client communication, including discussing discharge instructions and at-home care. Comfortable handling client emails and phone calls, answering questions, and providing follow-up care guidance. Strong attention to detail. 
• Proficient veterinary knowledge including diagnostics, fluid therapy, laboratory orders, pharmacology, disease processes, etc.
• Able to review and enter invoices, ensuring accuracy and clarity. Skilled in maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records, experience in Smartflow and Ezyvet preferred.
• Fluent English skills (speaking & reading) are required for the role; fluency in multiple languages a plus.
