Compensation
- $22–$32/hour, based on experience and skill leveling assessment
- Additional $5/hour shift differential for hours worked between 11:00 PM–7:00 AM

Responsibilities
As a Veterinary Technician at Boston West, you will play an essential role in delivering high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency and specialty environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide compassionate nursing care and patient monitoring
- Assist veterinarians with diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
- Perform venipuncture, catheter placement, and laboratory sample collection
- Monitor anesthesia and sedation patients
- Support imaging procedures including radiology, CT, and ultrasound
- Triage incoming emergency patients
- Communicate clearly with clients and team members regarding patient care and treatment plans
- Maintain accurate medical records
- Support daily workflow across departments while contributing to a collaborative hospital culture
Qualifications
- Veterinary Technician experience required
- Emergency and/or specialty experience strongly preferred
- Strong technical skills and confidence in patient handling and nursing care
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented hospital environment
- Positive attitude and willingness to jump in wherever needed to support the team
- Commitment to maintaining a respectful, collaborative, and uplifting workplace culture
- Fluent English speaking and reading skills required
