We are seeking a Clinical Lead for our Oncology department!

Some of the responsibilities you will own in this role:- Manage a team of RVTs and Veterinary Assistants
- Demonstrate solid veterinary clinical skills and be a role model for the team
- Facilitate direct or indirect training to department staff. Provide routine assessment of skill level and knowledge
- Complete monthly schedule and ensure adequate coverage
- Deliver results in areas of staff development, best practices (SOPs), training, client satisfaction, and safety
Compensation for this role falls between $35 - $45 hourly
Basic required qualifications:- 3 years experience in a fast-paced veterinary clinical setting, RVT license highly preferred
- Ability to lead by example and positively influence others by managing and participating in the mentorship and training of team members
- Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculations
- Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP); must obtain within 60-days of hire or transfer into this role; (this requirement is waived if incumbent holds a valid CA-RVT license)

- Must have weekend/open availability to cover various shifts
