Call Center Technical Liaison

IVG Hospitals is looking to add a full-time Veterinary Technician Liaison to our team in Woburn, MA.

The Veterinary Technician Liaison will be responsible for providing pet owners with verified pet care information over the phone.  The Liaison will utilize technical training knowledge, IVG documentation, and internal learning and development resources to appropriately and accurately respond to a client pet health questions. 

Essential Functions

  • Actively guide and accurately answer questions from Customer Service Liaisons regarding pet health
  • Use IVG and veterinary accredited, published information to educate pet owners and discuss general pet health questions  over the phone (Veterinary Technicians do not provide diagnosis’ as part of their responsibilities)
  • Enter accurate and timely documentation in the health information system
  • Document and cataloging  pet owner questions and responses (citing reference materials when possible) as part of the creation of a reference database/library of client FAQ’s
  • Work with our Learning and Development team to develop protocols, procedures, and educational materials


  • Must possess 3-5 years of experience as a Veterinary Technician
  • Exceptional verbal communication skills and a desire to speak with pet owners about their pet’s health and well-being
  • BS in Biology, Veterinary Technology or Animal Science preferred

Shift and Schedule: weekdays with 1 weekend shift per week.
