Red Bank Veterinary Hospital (RBVH) in Tinton Falls, NJ is hiring a full- time dedicated and enthusiastic Veterinary Assistant to join our outstanding Emergency/ ICU team!
Picture this...You're going about your treatments and then you hear it "STAT!" Your heart starts to pound, but you are calm and ready. You know what to do; you've been here before. The patient comes back, the code starts, and the dance begins. Your body moves before you even tell it to. Compression, airway, venous access. The doctor gives orders, but you're already on it before they even finish the sentence. You know every second counts when a life is on the line. Can you imagine yourself here? We are looking to add Veterinary Assistant to join our team.  We are seeking nurses who want to continue to grow their skill set and knowledge, who are looking for advancement and want to continue their education in the field (Inquire about our tuition reimbursement as well as one on one mentorship for certifications and VTS programs).

Job Responsibilities:
This is an exciting opportunity to further skills & knowledge in Emergency and Critical Care.
  • 1+ year experience in the veterinary industry.
  • Must have experience in animal restraint.
  • Preferred experience in radiographs and lab work.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment, along with regular re- stocking.
  • Strong patient care.
  • Ability to work successfully in a fast- pace environment amongst multiple doctors and staff members.
