About SAGE Concord:

Our SAGE Concord location opened a brand-new state-of-the-art facility in the summer of 2022! It is the largest Specialty and Emergency Hospital in the East Bay area. Our next-generation facility has allowed SAGE Concord to significantly expand its Emergency, Specialty, and Urgent Care services to the growing East Bay community.

Our Specialty offerings consist of Emergency, Critical Care, Cardiology, Integrative Medicine, Internal Medicine, Oncology, and Surgery. This new facility features multiple advanced Surgery suites, as well as sophisticated Trauma response and Critical Care capabilities. Our vision in SAGE Concord is to continue the expansion of SAGE’s existing services to meet the ongoing demand for additional services in our community.


About the Job:  As an Imaging Technologist, you will be responsible for:
  • Prepare and run MRI scans per clinician orders to obtain diagnostic images on canine and feline patients
  • Prepare and run CT scans, per clinician orders to obtain diagnostic images on canine and feline patients
  • Set image parameters and patient positioning
  • Work independently or under the guidance of the clinician to modify scan techniques for optimal image quality
  • Understand and review all medical records pertinent to patient care and image requests
  • Maintain a clean and safe MRI and CT environment by restricting personnel access and disinfecting between patients
  • Performs routine MRI quality assurance reporting any concerns in a timely manner
  • Remain current in MRI and CT trends through CE attendance and certification
  • Other duties as assigned
Compensation for this role is between $38 - $49/hr.
 
About You:
  • Graduate of approved medical imaging program or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of veterinary clinical experience in a similar role
  • The ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community.
  • Maintain a positive outlook and ability to work well in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected.
Work Schedule:
  • Full-Time, 4/10 hr shifts
