Do you love providing exceptional service to customers and colleagues? Do you love animals? Are you interested in or have prior Veterinary hospital experience?  If so, we’d love to meet you. You will be challenged, you will learn, your compassionskills, and ambition will be rewarded.  As a Veterinary Client Service Coordinator, you are the first friendly face our patients see upon arrival. You have the ability to remain calm in stressful and sometimes emotional situations while confidently interacting with clients in person and on the phone. You thrive in a fast-paced environment in which you balance multiple tasks such as greeting clients and patients, data entry, requesting and sending medical records, managing a multi-line phone system, process payments, accurately schedule appointments and other administrative duties as needed. Effective communication with clients and medical staff is essential in this role. The ideal candidate has a genuine love for animals and a welcoming demeanor. The ability to be empathetic, compassionate and provide reassurance to worried pet owners is essential in this role. 
 
Basic required qualifications:
  • High school diploma and a minimum of one year of customer service related work experience 
  • One year veterinary reception experience is preferred, however not required! 
  • Competent computer skills including reliable and consistent ability to enter data into medical records; effective working knowledge of MS-Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Type 45+ wpm and use 10-key calculator
Work Schedule:                         
  • Full-Time
  • Swing shift currently available
  • 4/10 Schedule
  • Weekend and holiday availability required

  • The Pay range for this position is $22-26 an hour.  
  • The rates above are our pay range for this role for all types of services we provide and all areas in which we do business in in California. It is important to note that while all sites will be able to offer rates within this range, not all sites will be able to offer the exact same rates.
