Veterinary Emergency & Specialty Hospital (VESH) located in West Springfield, MA is seeking passionate and skilled Emergency Veterinary Technicians to join our dynamic team!
About the Role:
- As an ER Technician, you will play a crucial role in partnering with our ER Doctors, providing top-notch customer experiences, and delivering outstanding patient care.
- Your day-to-day tasks will involve:
- Triaging incoming patients and managing clients throughout their visit
- Partner with DVM’s in patient assessment, diagnostics, treatments, and procedures
- Obtaining and processing laboratory samples such as blood, urine, free fluid, and fine needle aspirates
- Utilize different modalities of imaging for patient assessment
- Executing, monitoring, and recovering all assigned sedation and anesthetic events
- Non-Credentialed Technician: $22 – $26
- Credentialed Technician: $24 - $27 – Even higher for VTS!
- Shift Differential: Base + $4 between 12a – 6a
- 2nd Shift: 3p – 12a ($2 shift differential from 6p – 12a)
- Overnights: 9 or 12 hour shifts – open to your preference
- 7p – 7a ($4 between 12a – 6a)
- 10p – 7a ($4 between 12a – 6a)
- Rotational: Mixture of Days, mids, overnights
- Days: 7a – 4p
- Swing: 3p – 12p ($2 shift differential from 6p – 12a)

We are a 24- hour, VECCS Level 2 Certified, state-of-the-art Emergency + Specialty veterinary hospital.
Like human medical specialists, VESH supports primary care veterinarians with the evaluation and treatment of pets affected by trauma, chronic issues, serious illness, or unusual disorders requiring advanced training along with providing critical & emergency pet care.
We offer a variety of specialty services including Advanced Imaging (CT), Internal Medicine, Surgery, and of course Emergency and Critical Care.
