The ideal candidate:
- State RVT license preferred, but not required
- Previous Specialty experience preferred
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Passion for helping people and their pets
- The role involves a variety of responsibilities including radiology, anesthesia monitoring, physical examinations, laboratory work, pharmacy duties, patient recovery, and providing compassionate care to hospitalized patients.
- The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Day shift, Tuesday-Friday
- Compensation is based on skillset and education, ranging from $26 to $40 per hour. Compensation is based on location, experience, and skillset.
Basic Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma
- 2+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interface with staff and clients using tact, patience, professional courtesy, and exhibit confidentiality and discretion where appropriate
- Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations
- Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit
- $6,000 Sign-On Bonus for NEW Full-time RVT's
- $4,000 Sign-On Bonus for NEW Full-time Senior VA's
- No weekends! Day shift Tuesday-Friday

Our pay ranges are primarily determined by role, level, and location. The range provided for each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
